Learn about the biological principles of implant healing with three new lectures by Dr Jeffrey Ganeles

In the first of three new lecture modules — Immediately loaded implants with screw-retained hybrid restorations in edentulous patients - part I — Dr Jeffrey Ganeles illustrates the process of osseointegration and addresses different loading protocols.

Dr Ganeles mentions; "My interests within the field [of periodontics] have generally revolved around enhancing speed of treatment, maintaining high predictability, simplifying treatment and integrating restorative and surgical aspects of treatment. [this includes] ...documenting and implementing protocols for accelerated loading protocols."

The new module offers the following lectures:
Loading protocols: evidence for successful immediate loading

Reduced number of implants and healing time: theory, evidence and planning

Patient selection criteria for immediate hybrid restorations
